Story Hours


The Langley-Adams Library holds weekly story hour programs for children of all ages.  There is no registration for our story time programs. Please go to our calendar for dates, times, and age recommendations. Please contact the library (978-372-1732) if you have any questions.

Babies and Toddlers (for babies 0-2 years) Tuesdays 10:15-11:00 a

Bookworms Preschool Storyime (ages 3-5) SESSION 1: Thursdays 10:15 am             SESSION 2 Thursdays 1 pm                   Children ages 3-5 will enjoy stories and activities based on a weekly changing theme and make a simple craft.                        
Construction Zone  (all children K-5 and their families) Wednesdays after school, to be scheduled   Children in grades K-5 will have the opportunity to build imaginative structures w/blocks, Legos, and other materials. Optional building challenges will be presented. Parents/caregivers are invited to attend but are not required to accompany their child.
Teddy Bear Story Time (all ages) 1st Wednesday of each month at 6:30pm. Children are invited to wear their PJs, bring a stuffed animal, and enjoy a few stories and a simple craft in the children’s room. No registration required.



MERLIN is a friendly dog who loves being read to! As a Reading Education Assistance dog, he visits our library one Friday a month and let’s children from Kindergarten to grade 3 read to him. If you think your child would like to read to Merlin and help develop their reading skills, please call the library for more info. Reading takes place individually in 15 minute intervals. Because Merlin is so popular, we do require registration for this program. Please call or register online.
