How to Get a Library Card

To register for a library card, patrons must present a form of identification showing name and current address. Identification can be a driver’s license, tax bill, and/or bill mailed to current address.  Children entering first grade are eligible for their own card.  Before the end of the school year, the Bagnall Kindergarten classes visit the library to receive their library cards. Anyone under 14 years of age, must have a parent present to sign the registration card.

Library cards issued at the Langley-Adams Library may be used at any of the 35 Merrimack Valley Library Consortium (MVLC) Libraries.  Residents outside of the MVLC network may register for a Groveland card.  The cost of the card is $75.00, and allows all members of a family to use all 35 MVLC Libraries with full privileges.

Teachers in the Pentucket Regional School District are welcome to register for a teacher’s library card.  This card is valid for one school year, and is free.

Business owners are also welcome to register for a business card, and all employees of the business are eligible to use the card.  This card is valid for one year, and is free of charge.

Lost library cards may be replaced for a fee of $5.00.
