Friends of the Groveland Library

The Friends of the Groveland Library is a group of town residents who seek to improve and support the Langley-Adams Library through fundraising. With funds raised by the Friends, the library is able to offer more author events, lectures, programs for all ages, and a bigger, more diverse library collection.

Friends members pay annual dues and meet monthly or as necessary to plan and host fundraising events. Whether you just want to help with a single book sale or become a dedicated member, there is a place for you! We welcome donations of time, money, experience, energy, and ideas, no matter your schedule!

June 2020 update

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Friends of the Groveland Library is unable to host its book sales in May or September. We hope that as restrictions lift, we can consider other fundraising ideas in the near future. Stay tuned, because we can’t wait to get back at it!

We do have some good news to share! We have approval from the Groveland BOS to put a Little Free Library at Washington Park! Many thanks to Shaune Donohue from SD Works here in Groveland for donating his time to build the LFL and to two very helpful elementary school volunteers for their help in painting it. We are very much looking forward to getting it installed so that the community can start using it as a resource to find great books.
